UNITE HEALTH PROJECT

The Unite Health Project brings together housing and healthcare. The Hamilton-McFarlan Clinic opened in Flint, Michigan during the summer of 2021. The Hamilton-McFarlan Clinic is one of the first Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) clinics to be located on an older adult affordable housing campus. The goal of the clinic is to bring affordable and accessible healthcare to the older adults who live at the housing campus and the surrounding neighborhood.

Now that the clinic has opened, the Unite Health Project team is looking to learn more about how a clinic located on an affordable housing complex can help older adults stay healthy and remain living independently in their own homes.
